We are excited to launch a new on-line evangelization initiative this Lent called Being Catholic. This initiative is centered on a dynamic new blog that can be found at  http://www.catholiccincinnati.org/being-catholic. This blog will feature a diverse line up of contributors from throughout the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Priests, religious, seminarians, married, and single Catholics of all ages will reflect on their experience of “being Catholic”.

This blog will feature the ability to interact, and to share interesting content with your network of family, friends, and parishioners. As you visit the page, please subscribe to the blog through the RSS feed, or sign up on our e-mail list. While you are there, make sure to like our facebook page, and follow us on Twitter. You can even download our Being Catholic App on your Android or iPhone.

Being Catholic will be a great tool for evangelization and the new evangelization.

Advertise the Being Catholic blog in your bulletin; send it to your RCIA candidates, youth group members, and Bible Study participants. Link Being Catholic on your parish webpage. If you are really tech savvy, embed the Being Catholic blog right onto your parish website for a constantly updated blog that will bring parishioners to your site over and over again.

This is not only an easy and effective form of faith formation for parishioners; it is also an easy and effective way for people to share their own faith. Visitors to the Being Catholic blog will only be a click away from sharing a story about faith to all of their friends and family through facebook, Twitter or e-mail.

We anticipate the Being Catholic blog to be a place where community is formed, questions about faith are asked and answered, and people are inspired and encouraged to discover, live and express their own faith in a deeper way.
