1)     What if I'm not Catholic? 

                 No problem.  This retreat is open to anyone who feels called by God to attend.

2)      What if I haven't been to church in a while?

           That's fine!!  A lot of people haven't and you are always welcome.  Besides, it's a really neat way to

           begin your faith journey anew.

3)     What do I need to bring?

           All you need to bring is a sleeping bag and pillow.  Everything else, including food, is provided.

4)      What if I need to leave before the retreat is complete?

           It is highly encouraged to attend the whole event but if you need to leave, please let us know in  

           advance.

5)      Who attends a weekend?

            Anyone!!    Parishioners just like you and me who just want to build their relationship with God.    

            It's also a really good way to get to know others in the parish quickly.   Although it is mostly St.

            John parishioners who attend, the weekend is open to non-parishioners as well.

6)      Who presents the weekend?

           The weekend is presented as a gift from other church members, just like you and me. 

7)      How much does the weekend cost?

           Free!!!  Nada!!   Nil,  Zero!!  No Charge!   It's a gift!!! 

8)      Are meals provided?

           Yes, all meals are provided.  But please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.

9)      What happens on a weekend?

            You won't get bored.  The weekend is packed with a wide range of events.  You will take a break

            from your normal daily routine, be spiritually fed, share if you feel like it and find yourself refreshed

            as only God can.  

10)    Why should I go?

           There is no one reason..there are tons!!  Everyone comes for something different.  Some are

           searching for something while others come because the food is great or their spouse made them.  

           Regardless of what brought them, just about everyone finds that they got just what they needed,

           even though they didn't know what they needed when they arrived.

11)    Where is the weekend held?

           Everything happens on the church grounds.  Most of the activity happens in Favret Hall.   

           Participants sleep and eat in the Parish Activity Center.

12)    How often is the retreat offered?

           Only once per year (once for the Women and once for the Men).

14)   How long does the retreat last?

          The retreat starts at 9:00am on Saturday morning and ends around 4:30pm Sunday afternon.
