Preliminaries: The Council Meeting opened with the Pastoral Council prayer at 7:00 pm. The reflection was led by Claudia Miller. Barb Utrata will give the reflection at the October, 2007 meeting.

Agenda Items:

1) Approval of minutes from August 13th meeting - all The minutes were approved as written.

2) Saints John/Max/Michael/Susanna Cluster Meeting

a) Tues., Sept. 11, 7:00 PM at St. Max in Youth Room
b) Expected St. John Attendees: - Steve Gross, Debbie Meinhardt, Kevin Kohls, Jane Mueninghoff and Tim Harmon will attend.

3) Discernment Process for Pastoral Council Leadership Oct. ‘07 through Sept. '08 - led by Al Cucchetti, Director of the Jesuit Spiritual Center. Al Cucchetti led Pastoral Council in thoughtful prayer to encourage members to examine their minds and hearts to determine if God is calling them to be Facilitator or Co-Facilitator of Pastoral Council.

a) Facilitator Rose Braun was elected Facilitator for the Council.
b) Co-Facilitator Cindy Muron was elected Co-Facilitator.

4) Adjournment and Closing Prayer of Thanksgiving Council joined in prayer of thanksgiving with Rose and Cindy. We adjourned at 8:00 pm.
