First, Happy Anniversary to Kathy who had an "excused" absence to celebrate with her husband.
We had a very productive meeting working through several issues on the Drupal site.
Brett has corrected the problems with the website "Theme" which controls the look and feel. The new site looks very good. He also changed the file upload limit to 10 Mb for the Committee and 5 Mb for others. This was done using Administer->Settings->Upload.
Themes are created using Style Sheets that need to be uploaded to the web site. Brett is working on the current style sheet.
Meeting Minutes are stories. These minutes were created using the Meeting Minutes.
Once Access Control was used to allow the Web Committee to use the View Module, we worked to complete the Adult Faith Formation Section setup.
We also looked at the Virtual Tour pictures to see how the image insert button worked. For these pages, we'll use Image Galleries instead.
There are several items that we should try to do before the next meeting:
Brett is going to work on the From Father Mark section, setting up the Parish Calendar, adding the Readings links to the Home page, and configuring the site to work in the best manner for ease of use and maintaining the site.
Dan should try to work on the Bulletin and Eagle's Wings pages. Also he should try to move the Staff Directory to the new site.
Debbie is going to section at least one of the Ministries or Organizations pages, and setup a new section and move the content. This will be a good test case for the documentation.
Steve is going to finish moving the Adult Faith Formation section. He is also going to create the Parish Info section and move the current content into that section. He is also going to move the Virtual Tour and Campus Maps into Image Galleries and create links to the Galleries instead of create separate pages for displaying the images. He'll write a "How to" for setting up Image Galleries.
We need someone to try to use the Webform module to create one of the current web forms. That person should write add info about creating a Web Form to "How To" document.
The next meeting is Monday, August 14th at 7:15 PM. Again, we plan to check our progress on the development on the website and hopefully select a target launch date.
