Here's what we discussed:
Most of the meeting involved discussing the new drupal web site. We showed Kathy and Dan how the new site works. Brett worked on an example web form to show how the forms can work. The forms can send the entered data via an email and the results are managed directly on the drupal web site and the total results can be downloaded in csv format.
Brett has created a Website Handbook under the Web Committee section to show how anyone on the Committee can create sections on the new web site.
We split up work for the next month: Brett will continue to work his to-do list, Dan is going to work on the Bulletin, Eagle's Wings, and the Staff Directory. Doug is going to add links back to the original web site for sections that have not been moved. Kathy is going to learn more about drupal and look at the new web site. We'd like Greg to work on the method for uploading the Parish Calendar to the new website.
Kathy has some ideas about support pages for those in grief and ill parishioners. She'll show us Care pages next month.
The next meeting is Monday, June 12th at 7:15 PM. We plan to check our progress on the development on the website and hopefully select a target launch date.
